Reports in Vietnam have suggested that the country is to hit new highs this year in terms of fruit and vegetable exports.
Figures from the Ministry of Agriculture, reported by the Saigon Times, showed that the country is likely to earn US$1.4bn from produce exports in 2014, having taken in US$1.2bn through the first ten months of the year – surpassing the yearly target set by the Ministry.
China represented the largest export marke for Vietnam, followed by Japan, the US, South Korea and the Netherlands.
