Ready Pac Foods has announced that Tony Sarsam will serve as its new chief executive officer (CEO), effective immediately.
According to the company, the hiring of Sarsam concludes a thorough search process that began earlier this year following the announcement of the retirement of Ready Pac's former CEO, Michael Solomon.
'Tony Sarsam is a highly respected leader with a proven track record of managing world class operations and driving innovative product development,” said Sean Ozbolt, chairman of the board of Ready Pac Foods. “Tony has outstanding operating experience and a reputation for building a strong performance culture, and we are excited to have him on board.'
Phil Theodore, who joined the company as president and COO in January, will continue in his current role.
“Phil has done a terrific job in leading the organisation during this period of continued growth, and Tony is looking forward to working with him and the entire Ready Pac organisation,” Ozbolt added.
