The first day of the Fruit Logistica 2010 trade fair and exhibition saw Dutch packing specialist Rainbow Kleinpack BV officially handed its ISO 2200 certification.
Theo de Groot of MPS/ECAS handed the certificate to Fred van Dijk, food safety and product manager at Rainbow, on 3 February at the Berlin event.
Rainbow has become the second Dutch fruit and vegetable company to be handedISO 2200certification.
According to Rainbow, the company audit took place through October, November and December of last year in the presence of the Council of Accreditation, and means that the group can add ISO 2200 certification to its existing BRC, IFS, HACCP A and HACCP B certifications.
