US fresh produce importer-shipper Pura Vida Farms has announced the appointment of Mike Martori as the vice-president of east coast sales, a role he first took up on 1 December 2012.
In his new position, Martori will oversee the company's expanding US east coast watermelon programme, as well as the pineapple import programme through Costa Rica.
'I am looking forward to sharing the expansion of our watermelon programme with our customers,' said Martori. 'We are building a really good network of farms from Florida to Delaware that are going to bring us some of the best varieties at their peak of season. Our eastern programme is really expanding and it’s exciting to be a part of.'
