For the new broccoli campaign, French marketer Prince de Bretagne has launched new packaging for its 500g broccoli heads in order guarantee optimal conservation until consumption, the company announced.
The bag equally includes a host of useful information to help consumers prepare the vegetable, including cooking time, a recipe from celebrity chef Jean Imbert and nutritional information.
Planted in the spring on the north coast of Brittany, harvesting began last month, although the main season stretches from June to October, with Prince de Bretagne broccoli eaten well into November.
Imbert, who is a partner of the Prince de Bretagne range, has made broccoli his recommendation for the summer and autumn due to its seasonality and its ability to be eaten both cooked and raw.
