TransRussia, the Moscow-based event for the Russian and international transport industry, will once again welcome the Port of Hamburg this year, with a shared stand making it just one of over 500 exhibitors from more than 30 countries participating at the exhibition between 26-29 April.
For the twelfth time, Hafen Hamburg Marketing has organised a joint stand for Germany's biggest seaport, teaming with Brunsbüttel Ports GmbH, Buss Group GmbH & Co.KG, CBT Logistics GmbH, Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA), Polzug Intermodal GmbH, Seehafen Kiel GmbH & Co. KG and Team Lines Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG.
Russia represents the Port of Hamburg's third most important trading partner, with some 439,000 TEU of cargo handled between Hamburg and Russia in 2010, growth of 34 per cent on the previous year.
In May 2003, The Marketing Authority opened a branch office in St Petersburg, creating business contacts between Russian export businesses and Port of Hamburg industry as well as partner ports from the metropolitan region.
