French fresh produce distribution network Pomona TerreAzur has reportedly formed a partnership with fast food chain Subway, which is looking to introduce fresh vegetables to its 179 French outlets.
Pomona TerreAzur is set to supply the chain with iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions and green peppers.
The company's Guillaume Olivier commented: 'This partnership is a perfect illustration of our ambitions in the foodservice sector, which will be a big part of Pomona TerreAzur's strategy for years to come.'
