Last month, French group Pomona agreed to sell its Les Crudettes packaged salad subsidiary to dairy, juice and soup manufacturer Laiterie Saint-Denis-de-l'Hotel (LSDH).
LSDH has taken a 66 per cent stake in Les Crudettes and is set to take full control in the next two years as it seeks to diversify its operations.
Les Crudettes has a 20 per cent share of the French market for ready-to-eat salads and an annual turnover of €79m, expected to rise to €83m for 2013.
