Pommes Ma-gic, a Quebec-based apple producer and distributor, is to use AiroCide air-sanitation technology.
AiroCide is Nasa-developed technology that prevents airborne cross-contamination of produce while maximising shelf life.
Sébastien Alix, president and CEO of Pommes Ma-gic, said the system would 'enable us to pursue our objective to provide our customers with the highest quality and freshest products as well as ensuring a safe, clean and healthy environment for our employees'.
