The US Produce Marketing Association (PMA) is looking to recruit its next Public Relations manager to replace outgoing Theresa Zuroick who leaves the organization on Friday 27 March.

Ms Zuroick is relocating to Bakersfield, California, with her partner and said she is keen to pursue another role in the produce sector after three years of working in the business.

“As a result of a corporate relocation offer from Frito Lay, my fiancé Jonathan and I are planning to move to Bakersfield, California,” Ms Zuroick explained. “Regrettably, due to the relocation and resulting distance I must resign from my position as public relations manager at PMA. While my career path is uncertain at this time, I hope to secure a position within the produce industry that I have come to know and love.”

PMA PR director Julia Stewart added that Ms Zuroick has been a “bedrock member” of the organization’s very busy PR teams for three years.

“We’ve been a tremendous team, and we’ve taught each other a lot,” said Ms Stewart. “I’m thrilled that Theresa’s interested in staying in the produce industry, and I’m looking forward to keeping in touch with her, both professionally and personally.”
