Almost 300 workers at Spanish plant breeder Planasa celebrated the firm’s 40th anniversary last week at a local restaurant in Navarre. Employees from the different operations Planasa has around the world were present to celebrate the company’s success.
Planasa’s 40th birthday coincides with the 125th anniversary of parent company Darbonne, which was founded in France in 1888. Alexandre Pierron-Darbonne, managing director and grandson of the firm’s founder was also at the celebration. He acknowledged the work, vision and success of Planasa’s workforce over the years and told guests “I am proud to be your workmate”.
