Apple marketer Pink Lady Europe has announced the appointment of Thierry Mellenotte as its new general director, following the recent departure of Jean-Michel Salon to join the Federation des Industries AgroAlimentaire.
According to a spokesman for the company, Mr Mellenotte began working in 1992 for the advertising agency BDDP, with responsibility for the McDonald’s account in France, before going on to positions as director and head of marketing in the field of wine production.
He was also previously head of marketing and communications for Interprofession des vins du Languedoc-Sud de France, a regional association of winegrowers in the south of France.
