Weather-related losses in the Peruvian mango-growing district of Lambayeque have cut yields by 15 per cent, according to the regional agriculture manager Augusto Velez Delgado.

According to Rpp.com, losses in the districts of Olmos, Motupe and Tongorrape have hit overall volumes.

By the end of the year, the country is forecasting that exports will have hit 10,000 tonnes, mainly to Europe and other South American nations.
