The Trade Commission of Peru is inviting Dutch fresh fruit and vegetable importers to take part in a business round in Lima, Peru on 26 September. The one-day event will be held two days before Latin America’s biggest food fair, ExpoAlimentaria.
“The Business Round Fresh Fruits-Vegetables connects Dutch importers with Peruvian exporters through matchmaking sessions,” said Angélica Kroon of the commission’s Netherlands office.
“These sessions will be carefully prepared so Dutch companies will know in advance which Peruvian companies they will meet.”
The matchmaking sessions will be part of a day-long programme that includes lunch, ample networking opportunities, and presentations. Companies wishing to take part in the business round can email Angelica Kroon at angelica.kroon@perutrade.nl.
At the same time Dutch Enterprise Agency RVO is organising a trade mission for Dutch companies from the logistics, packaging and other sectors serving the food industry to Peru between 25 September and 1 October.
“Against the background of this broad trade mission to Peru, participation in the business round for fresh fruit and vegetables is particularly interesting as it provides not only the opportunity to meet more Peruvian companies, but also other Dutch companies active in the fruit and vegetable sector,” Kroon said.
