Dekkers’ departure after five years will also signal a change in management structure at the Dutch group
It has been reported that Perry Dekkers is to leave his role as commercial director of Growers United in the Netherlands.
Dekkers will leave the group on 1 April, with his responsibilities taken on by managing director Kees de Kat.
“After making a major contribution to the growth of the organisation for more than five years, now is a good time to take the next step in my career,” said Dekkers.
”I’m taking time to decide what I’m going to do next. I would like to thank my colleagues and especially our producers, customers and partners for the good cooperation and wish them good luck.”
Dekkers’ departure will see Growers United change its management structure, reverting to a two-person board consisting of de Kat and finance director Stefan van Vliet.
“We thank Perry Dekkers for his contribution to this, respect his decision and wish him much success in the future,” the group stated.
