Muente previously served as CEO of Sudamericana de Fibras
Peru’s Agrícola Cerro Prieto has named Percy Muente as its new CEO. The appointment follows the departure of Alfredo Lira in June last year.
Muente has more than 20 years of professional experience, holding leadership positions in several companies across South America, including Agro Industrial Paramonga and Kimberly-Clark. Prior to his new role, he was CEO of Sudamericana de Fibras.
Agrícola Cerro Prieto is one of Peru’s leading exporters of avocados, blueberries, table grapes and asparagus, with more than 5,500ha of production in the north of the country.
Muente has an MBA from Emory University at Goizueta Business School and postgraduate courses in sales from the Kellogg School of Management.
