The Produce for Better Health Foundation (PBH) has revealed a number of changes to its board of trustees, with Paul Klutes of C.H. Robinson Worldwide elected as the new chairman of the board.

The US consumer education foundation made the changes at its annual spring meeting on 2-4 April in Monterey, California, with Mr Klutes stepping into the role vacated by outgoing chair Mark Munger.

At the meeting, Andrea Astrachan of Ahold USA was elected vice-chairman of the group, with Roger Pepperl of Stemilt Growers elected secretary/treasurer.

Meanwhile, Kari Bretschger of Integrated Marketing Works was elected chair of the organisation's consumer marketing and communications committee, with Matt Middleton of Ventura Foods assuming chairmanship of the foundation's donor marketing and outreach committee.

'I wish new chairman Paul Klutes all the best,' said Mark Munger. 'It has been my pleasure to serve as chairman and I look forward to continuing to support the message that eating more fruit and vegetables really does matter to America's better health.'
