Sensory product expert PakSense has announced the release of its new PakSense Ultra Wireless Label in Europe, a new product that allows users to wirelessly download time and temperature information and analyse data before unloading a perishable product from a container.
The labels operate by being activated and applied to a product or a product's packaging prior to shipping, with, at any point during distribution, the PakSense Ultra Wireless Reader collecting data from any label within a 100m line of sight range or a 20m obstructed sight range.
Time and temperature can be examined on the screen of the Ultra Wireless Reader after being downloaded, improving reaction times and ensuring fast decision making on product quality.
'Our line of wireless labels has been in use and tested by suppliers and retailers throughout the US for more than a year,' said PakSense CEO David Light at Fruit Logistica. 'We are very pleased to offer the unique benefits of this product to our European customers.'
