Oppenheimer is gearing up to introduce to the North American market its new three- and four-pack, grab-and-go kiwifruit bag with handle.
One version will contain Chilean Summerkiwi, with the brand’s graphics and logo, while another more generic version will allow the firm to change the country of origin and thereby help maintain a seamless supply for retailers.
“Our customers are always looking for new ways to retail their products,” Oppenheimer’s kiwifruit and mango category director, Steve Woodyear-Smith, told Fruitnet.
The new packaging concept will be available from mid-April until August, but with a high possibility of extending the availability, according to Woodyear-Smith.
