New speakers from some of the European fresh produce industry's leading companies have been added to the programme for the FRESH2011 fruit and vegetable conference in Rotterdam.
This year's event, organised by Eurofruit Magazine and Freshfel Europe, will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, on 25-27 May 2011.
The latest speaker additions to the conference programme include Francis Kint, CEO of Univeg's fruit and vegetable business unit, who will join Rory Byrne from Total Produce, Gé Happe from Ahold and Coop Trading's Jack Enevoldsen to discuss the changing nature of global fresh produce supply.
Luc Peeters from Mechelse Veilingen will give advice on food safety in relation to this year's Indian grape Chlormequat crisis and its implications for EU importers.
As ever, marketing remains vital in the highly competitive food arena. Magnus Scheving of LazyTown, producer and host of popular health-related children's TV shows, will tell delegates which advantages the fresh produce sector should be looking to capitalise on when marketing itself to consumers.
FRESH2011 also offers ample networking opportunity with around 250 of Europe’s leading buyers, importers and exporters.
Register online by 27 April 2011 and benefit from an exclusive 20 per cent saving on the full delegate fee. Freshfel Europe members also benefit from exclusive registration fees.
