Driscoll's of Chile has appointed Oscar Ramos as its new general manager, with Mr Ramos moving to the group from his post at California-based Driscoll Strawberry Associates, for whom he was working in Mexico.
He succeeds Mauricio Gonzalez in Chile, with the change effective immediately, The Packer reported.
'We are confident that the future of Driscoll's of Chile is very bright with the team in place and our overall position will continue to grow and develop,' said Soren Bjorn, senior vice-president for international business at Driscoll's.
Mr Gonzalez will remain with the company in a consulting position, focusing on blueberry production systems and varietal development in Mexico.
