Ctifl

Ludovic Guinard took on his new role as managing director of France’s technical institute for fruit and vegetables, Ctifl, at the end of August, under the direction of Louis Orenga.

According to Guinard, his aim is to develop technical and technological expertise at Ctifl in synergy with academic research, regional experimental stations and businesses.

He also stated his wish to optimise Ctifl’s adaptability to the new challenges facing the sector, as well as finding new ways to organise and finance projects.

Guinard equally revealed the importance of anticipating and developing innovations, while supporting their transfer to professionals.

Finally, he announced Ctifl’s aim to increase awareness about the institute and to use its internal expertise to strengthen the service given to professionals in the sector.
