Fresh Del Monte Produce has appointed Monica Vicente as its new senior vice president and chief financial officer effective 1 April 2022.
Vicente replaces current chief financial officer Eduardo Bezerra who announced he will be resigning 31 March to pursue other interests.
Vicente has served as vice president, corporate finance since 2003 and most recently led Fresh Del Monte Produce’s regional finance, global financial planning and analysis, investor relations, and global procurement functions.
Vicente also led other finance functions in her 24-year tenure with the company, including SEC reporting and controlling, tax, and treasury. Prior to joining the Fresh Del Monte Produce, Vicente spent six years at Ernst & Young in their assurance services group.
