Walmart Canada has announced the appointment of Dirk Van den Berghe as its new chief executive officer.
Van den Berghe, who recently left his position as CEO of Delhaize Group's Belgium and Luxembourg operations, will step inot his new role on 1 August this year.
He will report to former Walmart Canada CEO Shelley Broader, who now occupies the position of president and CEO of Walmart's EMEA region – inlcuding Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Canada.
