Kuehne & Nagel International, the Switzerland-based logistics services provider, has announced that Reinhard Lange will take up the role of chief executive officer on 1 January 2009. Mr Lange was initially appointed as the successor to current CEO Klaus Herms by the company’s board of directors in September 2007.
Global fresh produce marketer Vanguard International has revealed that Will Mehrten has rejoined the company, taking up his new position on 2 September. Mr Mehrten left Vanguard in November 2006 to work in the wine business, but after a 22-month stint in the industry, he has rejoined Vanguard in the role of vice-president of global procurement.
