The US Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA-APHIS) is advising the US public that it has prepared a pest risk analysis that evaluates the risks associated with the import of sweet limes from Mexico into the continental US.
Based on that analysis, APHIS has concluded that the application of one or more designated phytosanitary measures will be sufficient to mitigate the pest risk.
APHIS is making the pest risk analysis available to the public for review and comment.
This action was published in the 10 June Federal Register.
Consideration will be given to comments received on or before 9 August.
