Canadian retailer Metro has announced the appointment of FrançoisThibault as its new senior vice-president and chief financial officer, a move that will come into effect on 1 August.
In his new role, Thibault will lead all of the company’s financial managementand reporting functions, as well as treasury and investorrelations, legal affairs, strategic planning and corporatedevelopment.
Since 1999, Thibault has held various strategic positions withBombardier and he has been vice-president, finance of BombardierAerospace since 2009.
