Medfel, the fair that seeks to bring together all the major fresh produce players from across the Mediterranean, returns to the southern French town of Perpignan on 24-26 April.
For its fourth edition, organisers expect around 300 companies to exhibit and approximately 5,000 buyers to visit, with the opportunity for pre-arranged business-to-business meetings.
North Africa will be particularly well represented this year, with many exhibitors travelling from Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt.
In addition to providing an exhibition space, the fair will include some 17 conferences on a variety of topics, including the organic sector in the region, transport and logistics, distribution routes and consumption, as well as the annual European stonefruit forecasts.
