At the end of this month, Perpignan will once again turn into the farming capital of the Mediterranean region, as the southern French town plays host to the eighth Medfel exhibition on 26-28 April.
The event is expected to continue growing this year, with an anticipated 250 exhibitors and 6,000 visitors, according to organisers Sud de France Développement.
This edition will see salads placed in the spotlight, a mark of support for France’s embattled growers, showcasing the broad range of salads cultivated in the country and offering tastings to visitors.
It will also feature Medfel Tech for the second consecutive year, providing a space for companies involved in seeds, packaging and cold storage.
