Monsanto Vegetable Seeds’ Maren Schoormans has announced his departure from the company at the end of this month, after 14 years working for de Ruiter Seeds and Monsanto, following its acquisition of the Dutch seed company.
Schoormans, who was a leading member of Monsanto Vegetable Seeds’ consumer benefits team, will take up a post from 1 August with Priva, a Netherlands-based specialist in automated climate and process control for the horticultural sector and other industries.
Staying within the sector, Schoormans will take up a business development role with the company’s global agro business department, which already provides climate control, and water and air treatment systems to glasshouses around the world.
