Quality manager Hugh Mowat has confirmed he will be joining UK grocer Morrisons in October after over a decade with the produce team at Marks & Spencer.
Hewill be in the newly created role of head of quality for produce and flowers and will be responsible for managing the fresh produce and flowers technical team.
Mowat, who has also served as a member of the global development committee of the Produce Marketing Association in theUS for the past two years, said he relished the new opportunity.
“I have had a fantastic experience at M&S and I am proud of all the developments there which I have been apart of. I now look forward to a new challenge and the opportunities this brings.”
