Christophe Mallet, the newly announced director of Fedepom, the French federation of potato, fruit and vegetable trade associations, is set to assume his new role on 2 January 2013, according to Végétable.
Mallet previously worked as the director of the general association of linen producers, as well as for interprofessional organisation Interfel.
At Fedepom, he will reportedly be responsible for deciding and executing global strategy, in close collaboration with president Gilles Fontaine and the board.
