For years, MAF Roda Agrobotic, the French manufacturer of fresh produce packing and grading machines, has been intent on moving to new premises, only for plans to be scuppered by unforeseen circumstances.
However, the company's rapid expansion has made such a move essential, and that vision is finally set to become a reality.
Construction will begin in April 2010 in the Albasud development zone in Montauban, in southern France. The new headquarters will consist of 3,000m2 of offices and 17,000m2 of production units.
The move is in line with the company's strategy of merging and modernising its workshops and offices.
The project is expected to be completed by January 2011.
