Shipping giant Maersk Line has announced that it is improving its AC3 service, which connects the west coast of South America with Europe and Asia.
According to Maersk Line, the changes will better enable fruit exporters to harvest business opportunities during the peak of Chile’s fruit season.
'The enhanced AC3 network offers shorter transit times from Chile to major fruit destinations around the world,' the group stated. 'With shorter layovers and less waiting time at the terminals, we keep your fruits in peak condition from origin to destination.
'Maersk Line has 80 years of experience in dealing with refrigerated goods,' Maersk Line continued. 'This year, we’re adding 30,000 new reefer containers to our fleet as a part of our strategy to focus on improving cargo care for our customers.'
