Maersk Line has announced the appointment of Gerard Morrison as the new managing director of the company's New Zealand operations.
Morrison is currently sales director for Maersk Line Australia, and has been with Maersk Line since 2006, having previously worked in telecommunications and logistics in New Zealand, Japan and the UK.
He will take up his new position in September, Maersk Line noted, with current New Zealand MD Julian Bevis moving to India to occupy the role of group representative for the AP Møller Mærsk group in south Asia.
