Italian exhibition Macfrut, to be held in Cesena on 26-28 September, will be preceded by an International Symposium dedicated to strawberries, according to organisers.
The symposium will include a workshop dealing with topics including production, cultivation, varietal research and marketing.
The morning session on 25 September will reportedly focus on post-harvest issues, such as sales, marketing, consumer perception, product segmentation and consumption.
Meanwhile, the afternoon session is set to concentrate on innovation, looking at the current market, future perspectives and news on the latest research in strawberry cultivation.
