AREFLH, the assembly of European regions producing fruit, vegetables and plants, has announced that is setting up a “melon working group meeting” at the Macfrut exhibition in Cesena, Italy, on 27 September.
The main priority of the meeting is the exchange of information about the past marketing year, as well as consumption trends.
According to AREFLH, operators from the French, Spanish, Italian and Moroccan melon sectors will meet to 'dicusss the commercial and production side of the business, including organisation, promotions and communication, in particular toward younger consumers'.
