The next edition of Italian fresh produce trade fair Macfrut will take place on 26-28 September 2012, organiser Cesena Fiera has confirmed.
The decision to bring the event forward by a week had been taken, the group said, in response to exhibitor and visitor feedback.
'I am glad to inform you that the management board of Cesena Fiera, having considered requests from exhibitors and suggestions made by visitors, above all from overseas, has opted to bring forward the next edition of Macfrut to the final week in September,' said the company's president, Domenico Scarpellini.
The 29th edition of Macfrut would benefit the Romagna region and offer improved opportunities for participants, he added.
Planning for next year's event is already well underway, with a number of foreign trade missions due to take place in the coming months aimed at building links with potential new exhibitors and visitors.
