Locus Traxx Worldwide has announced a partnership with Mayer Security and Traceability, aimed at providing advanced technology for the 7P Security Program.
The 7P (“7 Partners”) protocol includes growers, shippers, buyers and governmental bodies all sharing data in real-time. The new Locus Traxx GO products feed critical real-time temperature and location data required to protect the security and quality of products as they travel the world.
This rapidly growing programme, created by Mayer Security, already includes Del Campo, Cargill, Giumarra Companies, and Casa Ley, among many others.
“Integrating with the Locus Traxx GO platform was critical to providing real-time information to our clients,” said Luis Mayer, president of Mayer Security and Traceability. “Now, leading companies have a clear path to take advantage of expedited border crossing and maintain control over their products.”
The 7P Security Program (7P Security) works directly with US Homeland Security (CBP – US Customs and Border Patrol), Mexican Customs, as well as the Mexican Military (SEDENA).
“Utilising the Locus Traxx GO platform in this manner was an innovative move by Luis Mayer and his team,” said Locus Traxx Worldwide CEO David Benjamin. “The time is right for advanced IoT (Internet of Things) products, like the Locus Traxx GO platform, to have a major impact on the agricultural and transportation industries and it’s all about Locus Traxx developing Big Data on the supply chain. I’m proud to say we helped in some small way to usher in the future for supply chain interactions.”
