UK-based fresh produce business management software provider Anglia Business Solutions is looking to make its mark in North America following the appointment of Robert Frost as chief executive officer of its California-based subsidiary, LinkFresh Inc.
Frost will be tasked with overseeing the launch and expansion of LinkFresh, the company’s fresh produce industry ERP solution, into the US and Canadian markets.
The group's new US office will be located in Ventura, California, in the heart of one of the country's largest fresh produce growing regions.
'Our Microsoft Dynamics-based LinkFresh suite has established an excellent reputation as a transformational tool in the European fresh food industry,' explained Frost.
'In addition we have already secured several US and Canadian based customers. Establishing the LinkFresh Inc offices in California means that existing and future LinkFresh customers will benefit from the presence of a locally based implementation and support team.
'We are very excited by the massive potential market in the US for the LinkFresh suite.'
