Following these presentations, technical experts Robert van der Kamp from greenhouse builder Big Dutchman, part of Ammerlaan Construction, and Manuel Madani from technology partner Priva will join them for a panel discussion, to delve into the opportunities for advancing pepper cultivation techniques in Asia.

The second session of the seminar will focus entirely on the development of the sweet pepper category in Asia, with Rijk Zwaan chain manager Jan Doldersum discussing the company’s pepper assortment, followed by a guest speaker from Dole China who will highlight their experience in introducing pepper brands in Asia.

The opportunities that brands like Sweet Palermo, SN!BS and Tatayoyo offer will be explored by van Rijn-Wassenaar. In a panel discussion, Dole China, Ranjeet Karpe, owner of Nutrifresh in India, and Khoo Peng Keat, co-founder of Malaysia’s Food Forest Farm, will share details of how they are driving innovation in their respective pepper markets.

“Attendees are encouraged to contribute their own experiences and challenges to the discussion,” the company stated. “Rijk Zwaan is eager to enhance the category and drive the growth of the high-quality pepper market in Asia together by introducing new products and brands.”
