Kroger

Cincinnati-based retailer Kroger has announced the promotion of Joe Miskimins to the role of vice-president for produce and floral.

The appointment, which came into effect on 2 November, sees Miskimins replace Reggie Griffin, who retired from the US retailer on 29 October.

The Packer reported that Miskimins had previously served as vice-president of merchandising for the group's QFC banner.

'Joe is a strong leader who is passionate about delivering the best products and services to our customers, and he has the expertise to delver,' said Kroger's vice-president for perishables Jeff Burt.
