Kloosterboer Terminals has announced that the vessel M.V. Hudson Bay discharged the facility's first shipment of South African citrus on 18 May.
According to Kloosterboer, expectations for the coming season are 'favourable', as it looks to build on a 2010 when 28 vessels carrying 88,000 pallets were discharged.
The fruit, which is carried to northwest European markets via specialised reefers, is being served by NYK Cool and Seatrade Reefer Chartering.
