US-based Key Technology has announced the opening of its new visitor centre in Walla Walla, Washington, designed to create a 'superior customer experience' while demonstrating and testing the group's sorting, conveying and processing solutions.
The 9,600m2 Innovations and Solutions Centre boasts multiple demonstration labs to accommodate numerous customers for testing and training, showcasing products such as Optyx, Manta, Tegra and Veo as well as Key conveyors like Horizon, Iso-Flo and Impulse.
In addition, the centre features a second area that is dedicated to customer Factory Acceptance Testing, where the customer's equipment can be assembled and integrated to ensure it meets the correct specifications prior to it being shipped to the end location.
'Our new Innovation and Solutions Centre presents a very sophisticated, technology-based environment for demonstrating and testing our solutions based on each customer’s exact requirements, and no competitor will be able to show the complete integration of technology that Key is globally known for,' noted Randy Unterseher, senior director of marketing at Key Technology. 'We designed the centre with well-equipped visitor lounges and conference rooms that help maximise the customer’s productivity during their visit.'
The Centre will also house Key's customer-facing personnel, consolidating sales, marketing and sales applications engineering activity in one facility.
