Key Technology has announced the appointment of Steve Johnson to the position of senior director for Latin America and Asia sales.
Johnson is responsible for managing Key’s sales activities in the Latin America, Asia Pacific, and Australia/New Zealand regions to bring the company’s digital sorters, conveyors, and process automation systems to food processors and other manufacturers.
“These InterContinental regions have always been very important to Key,' said Steve Pellegrino, senior vice-president of global sales. 'Now we have a tremendous opportunity to expand in these growing regions because we have a wider variety of solutions, including the most complete source of belt- and chute-fed sorting technologies, as a result of our merger with Visys last year.
'Many of our new sorters like Taurys and Cayman BioPrint are ideal for food processors in these areas,” he added. “Steve Johnson brings strong market intelligence to his new position. He is a terrific resource for our customers and a valuable asset to our team.”
