AR Neaves, a grower from the southern English county of Kent, is supplying UK supermarkets with cherries already.
Farm manager Sarah Neaves said: 'We have gained so far from having an early season on all fruit, which means our overall season will be extended and soft fruit crops will have increased yields.'
Hot weather in the area, which can have a detrimental effect on other types of farming, had already helped growers get strawberries, blueberries and raspberries to retailers a week earlier than in 2010.
