Swiss logistics group Kuehne & Nagel (K&N) has revealed that it has appointed Norway-based Yngve Ruud as its new regional manager for northwest Europe, effective from 1 September this year.
Ruud, who has built up K&N's Norwegian organisation over the last 16 years after his own company was merged with K&N Norway in 1995, replaces Tim Scharwath, who is moving to a position on the management board of K&N International.
'We are very pleased to announce an internal candidate as our new regional manager of northwest Europe,' said Reinhard Lange, CEO of K&N International. 'I am sure, that under the leadership of Yngve Ruud, the regional team will continue the successful development
of this important region.'
K&N's northwest European network spans around 120 locations in six countries including Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Norway, Sweden and the UK.
