Switzerland-based logistics group Kuehne and Nagel (K&N) has announced that it has appointed Marcus Bennett as the new national manager for its UK organisation.
Bennett will succeed Yngve Ruud, who will move to the company’s Western Europe headquarters in Hamburg, on 1 November this year.
Marcus Bennett’s career with K&N spans 24 years, having held operational and management positions within air and road freight in Ireland, before being appointed national manager for Ireland ten years ago.
“Marcus Bennett brings a wealth of experience in solutions, customer, and people development to the UK” explained Yngve Ruud, deputy regional manager, western Europe. “The UK is a highly significant market for K&N and I am confident that Marcus’s firm and ongoing commitment in these areas will ensure the future success of our organisation in this country.”
