Linpac Packaging has moved to appoint Joanna Stephenson as the new vice-president of marketing and innovation, joining the company following the promotion of Adam Barnett to the position of vice-president of sales.
According to Linpac, Stephenson will coordinate marketing activities across Europe for the division's different product sectors, and will lead on innovation to ensure that the company is producing packaging solutions tailored to customer needs.
Stephenson joins Linpac from Sun Chemical, where she held the role of packaging European marketing director, having previously worked at rogenSi and the Dow Chemical Company.
'I am really looking forward to the new role at Linpac,' she said. 'The packaging industry is certainly facing some interesting times ahead and ensuring we are delivering high-quality innovative product, whilst managing the ever-increasing environmental concerns of customers and consumers, is vital to ensure Linpac Packaging remains competitive and at the forefront of innovation.'
