St Petersburg-based JFC Group, which is currently undergoing bankruptcy procedures, will be involved in four lawsuits over August and September as it looks to recover up to R2.95bn from debtors.
According to the Russian Supreme Commercial Court, the fresh produce company will have hearings into a lawsuit of R307.9m (€7.7m) against Moscow's National Fruit Corporation and one of R289.2m (€7.3m) against Whilm Management of 14 August, Rapsi News reported.
A similar hearing against Moscow's National Fruit Corporation for R2.13bn (€53.7m) has been set for 4 September, while an analogous case for R233.8m (€5.9m) will be heard on 26 September.
In May, the St Petersburg and Leningrad Regional Commercial Court initiated bankruptcy procedures against two of the company's subsidiaries Cargo JFC and Bonanza International, with creditors insisting that debts worth US$297.84m should be included in their schedules of debts.
